Make a sense of scale tangible.

The question

Astronomical numbers are easy to read and difficult to picture. What if exploration could make their relationships easier to grasp?

The product decision

Offer three complementary views of the same catalog: an immersive scene, a navigable map and a size comparison. The visitor chooses the way in.

In practice

• A catalog of 39 celestial objects.
• 3D, 2D map and comparison modes.
• A static application, without an account or backend.
